The excellent Business Link website has lots of free and very useful information for anyone running or starting a business – it has a section whereby you can enter details of your business and it will highlight what types of Business Insurance cover you require to have in place – some mandatory and some optional. Optimistic Outlook for SME’s

In a survey compiled by the CBI, the business sentiment within the small and medium sized manufacturers in the UK were ‘optimistic’ of growth in orders and production. This showed a 12% increase on the results of the previous year. WIth this positive news came the indication of a 16% increase on employment numbers within small and medium sized manufacturers. The All New Offices of Sky Insurance

Sky Insurance move into their brand new offices in Potters Bar. Previously, Sky Insurance ran their business from two different branches, one in Enfield Town and the other in Darkes Lane, Potters Bar. The Enfield office concentrated mainly on the Personal Lines type of insurances – motor, commercial business and household insurance, while the Potters Bar office dealt with short-term insurance schemes. As the business has been expanding and staff numbers increased, it was clear that a larger office capacity was going to be required.
