Big Thanks to Luke @ Sky Insurance! Phoned me back on the dot of when I requested, (just as I was putting the car to bed!), was very friendly and precise and generally a nice guy to speak too... went through the questions, and quoted £621 with all car modifications declared, with protected ncb, my mileage a year and my 26yo partner on, beating all other quotes (tried loads - some wouldn't even insure the missus!) and reducing my excess! Quoted on the near future mods including a remap - only going to be another £60 also! Done deal! Thank you VERY much! Well impressed.

All I can say is, if you have a modified car, would you rather someone on the other end of the line know what they're talking about so you get the correct cover or someone that needs to look up your engine swap or specs then put you on hold for hours and hours just to tell you they can't find it! Even if your quote isn't the cheapest I'd go for Sky purely because on black and white paper when you get insured with them you have proof and knowing full knowledge that your car is insured properly! I mean who else can insure a fully modified street legal RX7 with every modification listed?
