Burnt Out Porsche

Sky Insurance would like to thank Ferdinand Magazine reader Ciaran Challis for granting his permission to reproduce this image.  The car pictured is a 1971 2.2T which was Ciaran's pride and joy before he took an overseas job and stored the car to await his return.  Unfortunately disaster struck and the factory building in which it was stored burnt down.  In Ciaran's own words:

"I'd owned the car for about four years when I took a job in Australia. I had no intention of selling the car but had no idea how long I would be away, so I stored the car. Unfortunately the building where it was stored burnt down. I learnt the hard way that even when you are not using your pride and joy regularly it still pays to have it properly insured."
