In order to obtain an American Car Insurance policy via Safely Insured, you must meet the following criteria:
For 'Third Party Fire and Theft Cover', you must be at least 19 years old. You must have also held a full UK driving licence for at least 2 years and have at least 1 year's No Claims Bonus.
For 'Comprehensive Cover' you must be at least 21 years old. Again, you would also be required to have held a full UK driving licence for a minimum of 2 years, as well as have 1 year's No Claims Bonus.
Please note: Certain cars will come with their own criteria. For example, if you want to insure a higher-grouped, more powerful car, the age restrictions may well be higher, as well as you having to have held your licence for longer.
