Some of the cars you probably didn't know we insure...
As a specialist modified and performance / high-performance car insurer, there’s not many cars we can’t cover. In fact, some of the ones we can cover may surprise you.
We regularly write articles about our popular modified models on cover, such as: Toyota Supra, Nissan GT-R, Ford Focus RS, and so on… but we don’t often tell you about the hidden gems that we can cover too!
As a result, let’s look at just some of the cars we’re able to offer specialist high-performance car insurance policies for…
Lamborghini is an Italian brand as well as a manufacturer of high-end, luxurious, super cars (and SUV’s). Popular models include: the Lamborghini Gallardo, Huracan, Aventador S and the Urus.
Lamborghini Gallardo – throughout its 10-year production span, there has been many versions of this iconic car made, such as the Spyder and the Superleggera. With prices starting at over £150,000, and a power output of 562bhp (with a 5.2 litre engine), it’s clear to see why it pretty much stands in a league of its own.
Now, how do you insure a car like this? We can give you one answer… through Sky Insurance. Check out our Lamborghini Gallardo Insurance webpage for more information.
Aston Martin is probably most notably affiliated with the famous James Bond films. If you’ve seen one of the films, you’ve most likely seen an Aston Martin performing tricks and flying across lakes (no, they can’t literally fly – not yet).
Aston Martin DB9 – the DB9 is a British grand tourer available in a coupé, or a convertible (also known as the ‘Volante’). With a 0-60mph time of just 4.5 seconds as well as the hand-stitched leather accents and joins inside, this car doesn’t compromise style for power. With the newer Aston Martin DB9 GT starting from £140,000, it does however compromise your bank balance.

Jaguar is another luxury car brand. Current high-performance models include: The Jaguar XFR, and the Jaguar F-Type. Jaguar is (and always has been) a brand which possess class and elegance, as well as power and strength.
Jaguar XFR – the XFR is a high-performance version of the XF saloon and estate models. It has a 5.0 litre, V8, petrol engine, which gives out 502bhp and goes from 0-60mph in just 4.7 seconds. It certainly gives off the right amount of opulence vs. performance functionality. There’s also an XFR-S model which has a supercharged V8 engine and pushes the power output up to 542bhp.
As you can probably imagine, the Jaguar XFR is in the higher end of insurance group ratings. To find out how you can get insurance for your XFR, visit our Jaguar XFR webpage.
Some of you may not be aware that the Lexus marque is the luxury car division of Toyota. High-performance models of Lexus include: the RC F, GS F, and the LC, all of which boast extremely impressive specifications.
Lexus IS F – in production from 2008-2012, the Lexus IS F was popular amongst car enthusiasts who enjoy that little bit of luxury (as well as power). It sports a 5.0 litre petrol engine, which in turn gives out 417bhp and can reach 0-60mph in just 4.6 seconds. Pretty impressive, agreed?
